A committee of representatives from the Department of Maritime and Coastal Resources, the fishing community have welcomed Khun Nu Chaiya, Director of the Department to open the project “Conservation of the Hua Hin Seaside Area”.
The campaign will focus on smoking and the dumping of cigarette butts in the seaside areas, as well as setting up a smoking and non-smoking areas with litter disposal points.
Thai and foreign tourists were informed about the behavioral guidelines during the campaign launch at the Hua Hin Beach.
This environmental project has the support of the municipality and provincial government with food stall operators cooperating to preserve the beach area during the summer months.
