The building looks almost ready to go with the Thai flag flying, although a huge sculpture alongside is yet to take its final form. The new Phetchaburi Immigration offices are taking shape and looking good with Khao Nang Panthurat Forest Park in the background.

The new location is likely to be much more convenient for Cha-Am expats or temporary residents, being around 10 road kilometres from Cha-Am and around 3 kilometres inland from Phetchakasim Road, however that’s quite a bit further to travel from Phetchaburi city than Tha Yang. 90 day reporting from Cha-Am should soon become much easier!
