Mr. Thammanoon Sriwatthana, Deputy Governor of Phetchaburi Province has presided over a press conference to announce the Diamond of The SALT Festival 2022 in Phetchaburi Province.
The event is scheduled to be held on 16-18 September in Ban Laem District. Phetchaburi Province.
The event will feature salt sculptures, colorful lights, music by famous artists, cycling events and food from many restaurants.
This event aims to create benefits and create added value directly to the city ready to promote and develop areas in the province. The Ban Laem District is a source of natural salt production at the country’s highest level.
Mr. Thammanoon Sriwatthana said “I assure you that if you come to this event, you will not be disappointed. You will learn how important salt is to Phetchaburi and so different from other places. On the 3rd day, we also have a 3-day cycling event for those who love health. Don’t miss it.”
Mr. Sayan Sitthichoktham, President of the Phetchaburi Provincial Tourism Business Association said that the area is the largest salt field in Thailand. As for the tourism sector, this road is a popular tourist Riviera road.
