The signs are good that the entertainment scene is rapidly returning to Hua Hin and Cha-Am with eagerly attended happenings back on the social scene.
The return of the region’s population of ‘snow birds’, Europeans escaping colder climes, is nowhere near the usual number for this time of the year, but some of their favorite forms of entertainment, including live music venues and entertainment such as dart nights and quiz nights are back on the scene and can be found at restaurant and bars operating as ‘temporary restaurants’, able to serve drinks until 11 PM.
We have attended a fully booked live music night for Valentine’s at Susan & Larry’s Music Resto, including a performance from Stephane, a Swish pro muso. Another favourite music venue, ‘Ray’s Place’ at a new beachside venue in Khao Takiab, is also really cooking.
In Cha-Am, ‘The Lounge’ is now offering a live music open microphone night, dart’s night and quiz night every week.
The message is, get out and have some fun in safety and peace of mind; supporting local businesses who have been doing it tough over the past two years but are ready to welcome your custom again.
