Saturday (5th January) saw the opening of Art Arbour 2022, possibly Hua Hin’s most colourful, energetic, entertaining and most importantly biggest displays of art work at the Hua Hin Artist’s Village, AKA Baan Sillapin.
The opening celebrations colour was provided with a live art installation with an instant abstract painting created before the invited dignitaries and art lovers. That was accompanied by displays of rap dancing and a nunchaku displays. Additional entertaining came from a talented musical trio before the ‘bell was rung’ and the festival was underway.
What will follow every weekend from 10 AM until 5 PM during February will be a series of art and craft workshops and installation art; set amongst the scattered galleries and displays by local artisans throughout this village setting.
As a ‘must see’ regional attraction, Baan Sillapin is just ten minutes from downtown Hua Hin. Art Arbour is a free offering of colour and artworks from the serious to the whimsical, a great time to explore the biggest range of arts and crafts you can imagine.
