At least two more venues, named as the ‘Line-up’ and ‘Thongsuk Café’ are the subject of investigation in consideration of possible breaches of the Communicable Disease Act B.E. 2558, Service Places Act B.E. 1966 and orders issued under the Emergency Decree.

After the investigating officers have reviewed any evidence, the concerned persons may be summonsed for questioning and consideration of legal proceedings.

Other investigations and reports are being undertaken with a clear warning that breaches of restrictions now in place can result in prosecution and significant penalties.

After a large covid cluster from “Joey Boy” concert in the entertainment venue, the Maya Pub, the Hua Hin Provincial Court sentenced those involved with fines and imprisonment of three months for two defendants, a decision which is currently subject to appeal.
