Hua Hin Hospital has welcomed the first day of the big push for COVID-10 vaccinations with Dr. Nirand Chantrakul, Director of Hua Hin Hospital, along with Mrs. Suma Hematat, Hua Hin District Public Health Team, with more than 300 doctors, nurses, staff, as well as representatives from various health agencies.
Today it is estimated that about 500 people will be vaccinated per hour, most are elderly people over 70 years old and patients with chronic diseases.
The people who received the first vaccination today was 61-year-old men who had traveled from his home in Pranburi at 3.00 am and arrived at Hua Hin Hospital at 4.00 am. He said was not afraid and as soon as he heard the news, he had to register himself immediately. In addition, a 91-year-old grandmother also came to vaccinate.
As for the bedridden patients who have been unable to travel to the hospital, there is now has a list and plans to provide services to ensure that people are vaccinated as thoroughly and comprehensively as possible.
Dr. Suriya Kuharat, provincial public health doctor said that in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, there are 10 vaccination service points have been set up in 8 districts, focusing on rapid and efficient vaccination to build group immunity.
