Hua Hin Fantasia Park Zoo, in the Hin Lek Fai Subdistrict of Hua Hin, has announced that to stimulate tourism, their crocodile show has recommenced with reduced admission fees.

Mr. Prakob Chamnankit, the owner of the zoo, said even tourists are still largely absent, the zoo is still open every day to raise at least part of the income needed to care and pay for animal feed and staff.

The crocodile show has been stopped for 18 months, but after the Prime Minister announced that the country will open within 120 days and accelerate vaccination for people in the country, the owner decided to reopen a crocodile show for tourists to see and feed the animals.

The crocodile show pond area allows tourists to sit and watch on both sides but separated from the crocodiles to be safe.  Everyone who comes to visit will have need to wear a mask with temperature screening and arrangements for alcohol gel for washing hands.

From June to July and August, the zoo has a promotion with  admission fees for adults at 100 baht, children 3. years old and up, 50 baht and adults aged 70 years and over can visit for free.

There are 4 or 5 crocodiles in the pond, some of them over 10 years old. The show includes staff placing their head in the crocodile’s mouth and with bare hands reaching into the crocodile’s throat.

The zoo’s website also  shows elephant riding as another animal attraction.
