Health officials are conducting an investigation and controls have begun with the spraying of disinfectant inside the factory and accommodation of the workers and nearby residents.

The factory operations have been suspended with 250 field hospital beds to be installed within the factory area to provide care, surveillance, and observe the symptoms of asymptomatic infections.

All persons wishing to enter the quarantined area will be screened.

It has been reported that workers had gone drinking and eating at entertainment venues in downtown Hua Hin in early April where cases had been found.
