HUA HIN COVID-19 VACCINATIONS BEGIN

Yesterday (April 2nd) at the Hua Hin Hospital, Dr. Orawan Saibuathong has supervised the first COVID-19 vaccination service to local healthcare workers and frontline staff.

Around 200 people were vaccinated after the province of Prachuap Khiri Khan has received 1,800 doses of Sinovac vaccine which can inject a total of 900 people.

Public health officials have prioritised two districts that are high-risk areas, namely Muang District and Hua Hin District.

Those vaccinated are under the age of 60, with another 250 people will be vaccinated over the next three weeks with the second dose scheduled on April 23rd.

For the first Sinovac COVID-19 vaccination in the Hua Hin District, all vaccinated persons must be registered in the Ready Doctor Line app and must wait for at least 30 minutes to observe any symptoms. No side effects have been observed to date.
