The Australian Embassy, led by Ambassador, His Excellency Allan McKinnon, has been honoured that His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen have presided over the premiere screening of the documentary “His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua in Australia”.
The screening took place at the residence of the Australian Ambassador on Monday (15th February).

The documentary highlights the shared history between the Thai Royal Family and Australia. Privy Counsellors, Prime Minister Prayut, Cabinet Ministers and other senior officials also attended the reception.
The event included a photo exhibition depicting the historic visits to Australia by His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother and His Majesty the King.
The documentary will be screened on Thai TV in three parts – on 16, 17 and 18 February; following the Royal Court Circular.

Photos displayed at the Australian Embassy show King Vajiralongkorn while he was a student enrolled at military schools in Australia back in the 1970s. His Majesty the King spent six years in the country, at King’s School in Parramatta and the Royal Military College, Duntroon.
