Major General Manop Nuam Bua, commander of the Army Corps Academy Volunteer force and over 200 Army cadets donated blood at the Hua Hin Red Cross Station to be used as a reserve blood during the new coronavirus outbreak as blood donors decline everywhere across the country causing a shortage of blood.

The Red Cross have received total of total blood volume of 120,150 CC from 267 blood donors in this ‘mass donation.’ The blood obtained will help patients in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phetchaburi and Ratchaburi provinces in an urgent cases.
The general public is also encouraged to donate blood at the Hua Hin Red Cross Station and public hospitals. All blood donation units have measures and operational guidelines to build the confidence of blood donors as recommended by the Department of Disease Control of The Ministry of Public Health.
There are strict controls on the cleanliness of equipment, the hygiene for blood donors and operating personnel to avoid the risk of infection transmissions.
