A graduation ceremony has been held to celebrate the completion by 200 of Hua Hin’s senior citizens of the Elderly Quality of Life Development Program from the Wailai Waiwan Senior School.
Mr. Nopporn Wuttikul, the Mayor of Hua Hin, presided over the proceedings held in an atmosphere of fun and pride for the graduates and their families.
This is the fourth graduating class which commenced in March but after being suspended due to coronavirus concerns resumed in November. More than 200 people who completed the course received their certificates wearing blue gowns, specially designed for older students to wear with pride.
The Wailai Waiwan School for the Elderly School Project is a sixteen week program focusing on enhancing physical and mental health for the elderly and to improve their quality of life and sense of self-worth.
