A big field of golfers, Rotarians and friends, have demonstrated their determination to continue the proud traditions of the annual Charity Golf Day of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin despite coronavirus restrictions.
Held at the Banyan Golf Course on Friday 11th December as the 11th edition, Hua Hin’s appeal to Bangkok residents eager to have a getaway from the capital, with locals always ready to support a well organised event, were key factors in the success of the event combined with a willingness to support Rotary as such a big community benefactor.
Team scrambles are always fantastic fun and congratulations go all the winners and participants in a fun filled event. Team “Wise Old Men” came out on top of “Dan Sea” followed by “NT Asset” as second runner up. For full tournament results see https://bit.ly/3oNTA6L
Over the past decade the RCRHH has raised over 8 million baht, including over 1.34 million baht last year to fund projects including the Rotary Education Centre and Technology Enhanced Learning for Knowledge (TELK) classroom at Nong Khon School and the Thai Voices program at the Panyanukul School for children with learning difficulties.
The major sponsors on course all expressed their appreciation for the management and quality of the event, which offered golf on an amazing golf course, enjoying top class wining and dining plus the very social company.
The Royal Coast Review is proud to be an official media partner of the RCRHH.
The final tally for this year’s fund raising efforts are still being tallied and realistically may not meet the heights of last year. But once again the event was a triumph for all involved to continue both the traditions of the event and Rotary’s mission of community support.
