The 8th annual Hua Hin World Cup will be played on 12th December at the state of the art football grounds of True Arena with the Hua Hin Vikings as the organising Football Club.
Teams representing countries the countries of will be competing with local expat players and others travelling to Hua Hin from Bangkok and other parts of Thailand. Players are typically fit and experienced however the level of competition leaves them exhausted but still eager to join the closing party and presentations.
This year teams representing England are in Group B with Scotland, Australia, Sweden and USA. Group A is made up from India, France, Ireland, Finland and Spain.
Games are played on two full size FIFA standard grass football pitches. To quote a former Swedish professional; “If you can’t play decent football on this pitch, you can’t play it anywhere”.
The first kick-off is at 9 AM on Saturday 12th December with games throughout the day at True Arena. Admission is FREE and supporters are very welcome.
