The head of the Kaeng Krachan National Park has described the tragic death of a 42-year-old forest worker, a government employee in a boating accident in the reservoir of the Kaeng Krachan Dam.
The man had been to his mother’s house as she had been ill before staying at the house. On the way back, at around 6.30 pm however strong waves and wind had overturned the boat.
Officers from the Kaeng Krachan National Park rescue centre had been searching for the man however his body was found near Phra Island.
His body was then taken to Kaeng Krachan hospital for an autopsy to determine the cause of death
Mr. Pichai Watcharong Pipulay, Director of the 3th Conservation Area Administration Office, Phetchaburi branch, attended at the National Park to follow the situation, encourage staff, investigate the incident and to offer condolences to the family.
