Diwali literally means ‘a row of lights’. This is A five-day festival, the biggest in India, honouring the victory of good over evil and brightness over darkness.
Diwali is a time for introspection, to contemplate and dispel darkness and personal demons. Comparisons with the sentiments of Thailand’s recent Loy Krathong Festival could easily be drawn; this really is a ‘feel-good’ festival of light.
The main day of this festival is on Friday 13th November. At the Brezza Restaurant, Hua Hin’s favourite sunset spot, Avani+ Indian Chef Kuldeep will be presenting a feast of exquisite Indian cuisine with regional specialties for a colourful night of flavours and fun at this oceanside venue. DJ Jerome will be adding some of the sounds of India to the flavours and aromas of the sub-continent during a night to remember.
Hua Hin’s Indian restaurants are very popular with residents and visitors, however Diwali Night at the Avani+ Hua Hin Resort takes the Indian dining experience to another level as diners will be immersed in the cuisine, lights and culture of the land.
