The theme for World Rabies Day 2020 is “End Rabies: Collaborate, Vaccinate”, you can help by keeping pets up to date with their rabies vaccinations and collaborating with doctors, veterinarians, educators, community workers, policy makers, and others in your community to raise awareness around rabies prevention and control.
This is the time to check on your pets vaccinations and find out how you can be part of the solution.
Rabies is still a problem in our community today. Nearly 60,000 people die each year around the world from rabies, a preventable, yet incurable disease.
As the world comes together to fight against rabies, Rescue P.A.W.S in Hua Hin wants to help protect our community!
World Rabies Day is officially 28th September, but this Friday October 2nd and Saturday 3rd, P.A.W.S. we will be providing free rabies vaccinations for the animals in the community. This will be at Wat Khao Tao not far from the entry to the Khao Tao community.
You can also donate towards this world rabies event and help make a change in our community. Together we can protect each other and end canine rabies by 2030!
