This Saturday, October 10th, the Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort is presenting a three-course set menu created by their Pirom Restaurant Chef Mama Duu. Savour.  Her exquisite dishes will highlight Thailand’s diverse culinary regions, each course paired with wines by Hua Hin’s own Monsoon Valley Vineyards.

The Pirom restaurant is a stylish venue, but this event is happening away from the Intercon Resort at a special pop-up version of the Pirom at the 111 Social Club.  This most stylish colonial-styled setting is in soi 71, with guests able to enjoy the delightful ambiance of relaxed an oceanside setting accompanied by the fragrant sea airs.

This exclusive one-night only special occasion has a three-course set menu created by Chef Mama Duu.  As one of the Pirom’s culinary professionals, Chef de Cuisine, Jasvir San-Ghera, better known to her fans as Chef Mama Duu, is a Thailand native and third-generation chef well known throughout the country. 

She appears frequently on cookery shows and travel programs, including Thailand’s Khun Toi Kitchen as well as China’s Chef Nic and Australia’s Luxury Escapes. She’s also been a judge for Iron Chef Thailand.  At Pirom, Chef Mama Duu lovingly prepares dishes based on the family recipes she’s perfected during a 30-year culinary career.

Chef Mama Duu’s special one-night only presentation of exquisite dishes that will highlight Thailand’s diverse culinary regions, each course paired with wines by Hua Hin’s own Monsoon Valley Vineyards. 

What’s On the Menu?

You’ll begin with an all-time favourite of crispy homemade rice crackers served with caramelised ground prawn and coconut.  However the appetiser is then savoury smoked duck wonderfully complemented with a spicy fruit salad.

For the main course Chef Mama Duu has created a delicious version combining stir-fried grilled pork ribs with tomato and Northern Thai spices.

Your dessert will be a Thai panna cotta, with the aroma of pandan leaves with sweet coconut milk.
