A big team of cyclists was farewelled from Hua Hin early Thursday morning (October 1st) as they began their marathon charity ride to raise funds for the Thepparat Hospital located in Nakhon Ratchasima (AKA Korat).
The cyclists included many doctors, nurses and other charitable cyclists who will donating funds raised during the ride to purchase medical equipment for the hospital.
The route will take the cyclists from Hua Hin to Ayutthaya and then on to Nakhon Ratchasima; a distance of 636 kilometres.
His Excellency Suwat Liptapanlop, former Deputy Prime Minister wished the cyclist’s well and kick-started the fund raising with a donation of 20,000 THB with the Hua Hin Police, Red cross and other community well-wishers also making generous donations.
