British football fans, especially those of Oxford United, a League One team in the third tier of English football, will soon be seeing a new team shirt strip and logo. The Club is now be being backed by ‘Amazing Thailand’ for the next three seasons.
The Thailand Tourism Authority ‘Amazing Thailand’ logo will replace another Thai brand, beer firm Singha, whose spell as shirt sponsor came to an end earlier this month after two seasons.
Confirmation of the deal paves the way for the launch of the new kit, with the club saying this season will include a third strip.
Sumrith ‘Tiger ‘Thanakanjanausth, United’s chairman, said: “This is a very proud day for me to see two things I love joining together.
“I always tell people they should visit and see Thailand and this partnership will allow the football club to break ground in a new sector of the globe where football is a big passion for so many people.
“Oxford as a city is world famous and this will be about much more than just having Amazing Thailand on the kit, it will be about working together and building on some very exciting plans between the two organisations.”
