Skate board riders, or would be riders, may not be aware that Hua Hin has a purpose built skate board park which opened earlier this year.
The park is open to the public for free, 8am to 9:30pm, seven days a week, adjacent to Pataravadi High School, a performing arts school founded by stage luminary Patravadi Mejudhon.
A skate shop renting out pads, boards and other gear is on site along with a coffee corner for parents to hang out.
Classes to strengthen and develop skateboarding skills for everyone are available being taught by Geng Jakarrin, one of Thailand’s top pro skateboarders. There are both group and solo classes. Groups are limited 6 people per class.
Starting 28th August classes are available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. These classes provide fun and comfortable environment for beginners to advanced level. It is a great opportunity for you to have a proper skateboard skill development.
Classes for Beginner levels are on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 16.00 am-18.00 pm.
Classes for Intermediate level classes are on Saturday – Sunday 8.00 am-10.00 pm.
(Each class has two hours of class time with a break between classes).
