A river sightseeing boat, the Lai Si Chan 1, with 75 passengers aboard interrupted her scenic trip along the Chao Praya River on Sunday and headed for the nearest pier after taking in water and listing to starboard.
The Boat made it to pier just in time to safely disembark passengers. All were safely evacuated, with no injures reported. The boat capsized and sank alongside the pier, with parts of superstructure remaining above the waterline.
