On 2nd of September every year, Vietnam celebrates its National Day. On this day in 1945 in Hanoi’s Ba Dinh Square, President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnam’s Independence from France and renamed the country the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. This event impressed a part of Vietnamese history and marked the beginning of a new chapter in the Vietnamese nation’s colorful history.
