Sunshine International is on a mission to establish itself as the number one brand in Thailand for retirement, but that’s not all.

Maleesa Place is a recent Sunshine International development that doesn’t pretend to offer the level of care that a retirement residence with supported living backed by medical assistance provides. But what it does offer is confident introduction to the Hua Hin lifestyle at a modest cost so there’s time to look around and a taste of things to come for those choosing to stay.

Sunshine International, under the stewardship of founder and Managing Director Andrew Stocks, is well underway to achieve that ‘retirement brand’ mission. But Andrew also understood the was also a need for those contemplating their future retirement in Hua Hin to have the opportunity to ‘check out the scene’ without breaking their budget. The solution was to develop Maleesa Place to fill that niche.

Maleesa offers a very central location, within a ‘stone’s throw’ from Market Village shopping mall yet in a quiet soi with an open rooftop on the sixth level undisturbed by the sounds of the city below.
That rooftop was the venue on Friday evening (6th September) for guests and friends of Sunshine to enjoy an introduction to this new serviced hotel residence with a welcoming cocktail opening hosted by the Sunshine management and staff in sartorial splendor.

The unofficial ‘Sunshine International Ambassador’, Lizzy Ginsel, was there to share her own brand of sunshine charisma and clearly had inside knowledge that orange was the designated colour of the evening. The Dutch guests present felt very much at home!
Maleesa Place is located at Soi Hua Hin 88/1 just a two minute walk to Market Village and a 10 minute walk to the beach. It’s a boutique development unseen by most with just 33 apartments and ideal for those who want comfort and security but able to walk to shopping malls, hospitals and everything else in the city.
