The Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin has presided over a planning meeting to ensure all is ready for the 2019 Hua Hin Food Festival.
The event will happen on 30th, 31st August and 1st September at the recently revamped Queen’s Park 19 Rai.
The festival is the fifth annual event and showcases both local delicacies and international cuisine. Chefs from some of the leading hotels in Hua Hin and Cha-Am will be in attendance, as well as many vendors selling a wide variety of produce.
It is organised by the Prachuap Khiri Khan office of the Tourism Authority of Thailand , the Hua Hin Municipality, Hua Hin & Cha Am Chamber of Commerce and the Cha Am and Hua Hin Chefs’ Association.
Many hotels and top restaurants will have a booth to sell food at a reasonable price.
In addition, there is also a flower-making event, a bartender show, pasta competition. The produce of the region will be on show with cooking demonstrations and live music. The star of the show will be a giant seafood pizza 63 feet long as a giveaway on the opening day.
This year there will be a campaign against foam containers materials and promoting the trash recycling to save the environment.
