The Bangkok city centre and suburbs were hit by strong winds and heavy rain on Friday afternoon (June 7), causing floods and traffic snarl-ups in Chatuchak Weekend Market, Ramkhamhaeng, Phaholyothin, Kasetsart, Prachacheun, Prachanukul, Ladphrao and Ratchadapisek.
Lengthy traffic queues are expected as the end of week Bangkok rush hour kicks in, especially in areas such as Pathum Thani and Nonthaburi.
